Our first installation is up and running

Our first professional isbusy installation went up at a factory, outside the general manager’s office.
A status light for the office everyone visits
At the factory that got in touch with us, the only way to reach the general manager’s office is up a flight of stairs to the floor above. Being the general manager’s office, it is where people from every department and every corner of the site end up sooner or later — and many of them make the climb only to find the manager out, or busy. To put an end to the queues on the stairs and the wasted trips, we installed an isbusy sign that can be read from the bottom of the stairs, so nobody has to climb them to find out.
Secure, and simple
The factory’s rules and security policy meant the system could not use Wi-Fi, so we had to design one that works without it. And so that the general manager could use the sign without installing an app or opening a web page, we designed a remote that runs on AA batteries. It has two buttons, one green and one red, and changes the sign’s state wirelessly.
A remote is about as simple and secure as it gets, which is why we now offer remote-controlled setups to any customer who wants one.
